Return To Gotham City With Batman: Caped Crusader Trailer

Ever since Matt Reeves directed The Batman, he promised we’ll have an expansive step into The Dark Knight‘s universe. Batman: Caped Crusader is coming to Prime Video and the streaming service have dropped the very impressive official Trailer.

This maybe animated, it does look to deliver another spin on the icon character with what looks like something dark, gritty and roots in noir. Reeves live action version was similar vein with something at time tiptoed into Se7en territory. Reeves with JJ Abrams are involved on the production side of things with Bruce Timms in charge of this one, starring Hamish Linklater as the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne.

This Batman: Caped Crusader animated series never nearly seen the light of day after being cancelled by Max. Now it has a new home we’ll see the Caped Crusader push fear into the city’s corrupt and criminal. We will see a few familiar faces and a reminder not all animations are just for kids!

Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear.
