Pussy Galore! Sam Mendes Is Confirmed To Direct Bond 24!
Is he or isn’t he? That has been the question that’s been on the lips ever since James Bond 23 aka Skyfall was released cinematically and now it’s official Sam Mendes will direct James Bond 24!
Like any great franchise it’s always good to get some momentum and when Sam Mendes was confirmed as the director of Skyfall it raised a few eyebrows but he proved his critics wrong by directing the highest grossing film of the franchise. No wonder Sony where keen to bring back Mendes and this afternoon everything is now official.
So 2015 if everything goes to pan with al film slated for a 2015 release Sam Mendes James Bond 24 will be amongst the likes of Terminator 5, Avengers 2, Finding Dory,Ant-Man, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Star Wars Episode VII.Mouth Watering? Oh yes!
Bond 24 will be released in UK cinemas on the 23rd of October 2015 and in American cinemas on the 6th of November 2015.

Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, EON Productions; Gary Barber, Chairman & CEO, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer; Michael Lynton, CEO, Sony Entertainment, Inc, and Amy Pascal, Co-Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment today announced that Daniel Craig will once again return as the legendary British secret agent in the 24th James Bond film and Sam Mendes will also return to direct the screenplay written by John Logan. The film is set for release in UK theaters on October 23, 2015 and in US theaters on November 6, 2015.
SKYFALL™, the 23rd James Bond film, took in $1.1 billion worldwide and set a new mark as the highest-grossing film of all time in the UK; it was the best-selling Bond film on DVD/Blu-ray and was the most critically acclaimed film in the history of the longest-running film franchise.
Commenting on the announcement, Wilson and Broccoli said, “Following the extraordinary success of SKYFALL, we’re really excited to be working once again with Daniel Craig, Sam Mendes and John Logan.”
