Puss In Boots: The Last Wish Third Trailer Says Goodbye To A ‘Legend’

Say Hola to his little friends! Next year it will be time to say goodbye to a ‘legend’ when Puss In Boots: The Last Wish will be released. Tonight Universal Pictures have released a third UK Trailer as the Shrek Universe heroes antics take it’s toll.

Antonio Banderas is once again everyone’s favourite leche-loving, swashbuckling, fear-defying feline. Salma Hayek joins him as his love interest, sometimes nemesis, Kitty Soft Paws. Puss has nearly used all his lives up, with one remaining as well as forgetting to keep count. He must embark on his greatest adventure to find the wishing star and regain his nine lives.

This film might tease Puss In Boots darker side. His previous incarnations onscreen he didn’t care, he might just now. This looks fantastic, but will it be the end?

For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new adventure in the Shrek universe as daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet.

Academy Award® nominee Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the notorious PiB as he embarks on an epic journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost lives. But with only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Soft Paws (Oscar® nominee Salma Hayek).

The voice cast includes Olivia Colman, Harvey Guillén, Samson Kayo, Wagner Moura, Anthony Mendez, John Mulaney, Florence Pugh, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ray Winstone.

Puss In Boots: The Last Wish will be in our cinema screens from 3rd February 2023 in the UK and Ireland. Over the water in the U.S, your wait is shorter, 21st December.
