Puss In Boots: The Last Wish Second Trailer Faces Morality

These days every film seems to be in some kind of ‘multiverse’ for Puss In Boots: The Last Wish it’s the Shrekverse. Universal Pictures have now released the official second UK Trailer for the Shrek spin-off which asks you to pray for mercy. As Puss In The Boots faces morality in what could be a ‘purr-fect’ new promo!

Very rarely spin-off films critically are successful, Puss In Boots was one of those rare occasions. The reasons for taking 11 years to make the sequel, we couldn’t tell you. That long wait might just be the sparkle the film needs and going by what this new trailer unearths excitement is a massive understatement!

Antonio Banderas returns as Puss with Salma Hayek as Kitty Soft Paws once again. Puss laughs at danger in it’s face, costing eight of his lives, he’s even lost count. He must ask for help and search for the mythical Wishing Star in the Black Forest that can restore those lost lives.

For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new adventure in the Shrek universe as daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet.

Academy Award® nominee Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the notorious PiB as he embarks on an epic journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost lives. But with only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Soft Paws (Oscar® nominee Salma Hayek).

The voice cast includes Olivia Colman, Harvey Guillén, Samson Kayo, Wagner Moura, Anthony Mendez, John Mulaney, Florence Pugh, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ray Winstone.

Since the first Trailer, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish UK and Irish cinema release date has changed. Instead of September, it will now be released 3rd February 2023, USA release is now 21st December.
