Power Is Everything In Trailer For Tekken: Bloodline

With various video game adaptations such as Resident Evil already on the platform, Netflix have announced they are set to release Tekken: Bloodline.
The Anime series announcement was revealed by Bandai Namco‘s Katsuhiro Harada, who produced/directed the games via his twitter account. Adaptations are not new for the Tekken franchise live and animated, with the forgettable 2009 live action film. 50 million plus games sold you wonder why there hasn’t been many more films and series based on the popular 1990’s game franchise.
From what we know this anime series will focus on character Jin Kazama. His origins from his training from his mother to the monster that destroyed everything. He seeks vengeance and the power that will give him that chance. Leading him to take his battle to The King Of Iron Fist Tournament.
The trailer below does tease some of those iconic characters from the games will be in this. The likes of Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, Leroy Smith, King, Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix, and Ogre. After the dreadful live action film, Tekken: Blood Vengeance (2011) animation, this new animation actually looks pretty solid.
“Power is everything.” Jin Kazama learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. Even so, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything dear to him, changing his life forever. Angry at himself for being unable to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage — The King of Iron Fist Tournament.
Tekken: Bloodline anime series is set for a release sometime in 2022, with July a possible release date.
