Shiver me timbers! The movie franchise that started as a theme park ride is ready to launch the fifth movie of the franchise early Summer 2017. Now Walt Disney launch Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales first UK Teaser Trailer a teaser that introduces the movie’s antagonist, Captain Salazar.

Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the newly re-named film that was originally called “Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge.” Sparrow’s protege Will Turner (Orlando Bloom)with hi once again trying to evade another old adversary Salazar (Javier Bardem). The new promo plays more like scene Salazar looking for Jack who believes a young astronomer knows his whereabouts.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack. Jack’s only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.

If you’re looking for a glimpse of our anti-hero Jack you will be disappointed, but as we know the challenge for the long-running franchise is to entice cinephiles back. The trailer seems to have captured a little of the spirit of the early films especially Black Pearl. 6 years after the last sequel the reviews weren’t kind and Walt Disney have hired the services of Kon-Tiki directors Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning they are hoping they will deliver the goods.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set for a 26th May 2017.
