The Hobbit:Desolation Of Smaug has unleashed more visual treats in the shape of 2 60 second TV Spots as Bilbo and the dwarves road becomes more perilous they are greeted by faces new and old.

On the day news has broken that $561 million has been spent so far on The Hobbit these new extended spots gives us slivers of new glimpses back into Middle Earth most of all why Benedict Cumberbatch is Smaug! His appearances are brief  like in the recent new UK trailer we do hear more dialogue but what will excite fans of the franchise is the possible first appearance of Beorn the shapeshifter.

The appearance of the Elves as seen in these new videos might bring some balance but most of all make The Hobbit:Desolation Of Smaug (not forgetting return of Orlando Bloom as Legolas) the key connecting factor with The LOTR with non fans of the franchise. The Hobbit:The Desolation Of Smaug will be released in Glorious 2D as well as unglorious 3D in UK, Ireland and USA on 13th December.
