‘Open Wide’ For A New The Meg Poster

THE MEG

This August cinemas will be ‘opening wide’ in preparation for the arrival of The Meg. It’s certainly looking the most outrageously silly but fun film this Summer. If you thought Steven Spielberg’s Jaws was a scary beast, the Megalodon Shark will devour Jaws like a finger snack.

A mythical prehistorical shark was regarded as the true predator of the sea and below in a new Poster from Warner Bros. Pictures you can get a good sense of how big the shark is.

If there’s one person who can take on the shark, it has to be The Stath aka Jason Statham. Can he rescue the trapped undersea observation team against the threat?

A deep-sea submersibleโ€”part of an international undersea observation programโ€”has been attacked by a massive creature, previously thought to be extinct, and now lies disabled at the bottom of the deepest trench in the Pacificโ€ฆwith its crew trapped inside. With time running out, expert deep sea rescue diver Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham) is recruited by a visionary Chinese oceanographer (Winston Chao), against the wishes of his daughter Suyin (Li Bingbing), to save the crewโ€”and the ocean itselfโ€”from this unstoppable threat: a pre-historic 75-foot-long shark known as the Megalodon. What no one could have imagined is that years before, Taylor had encountered this same terrifying creature. Now, teamed with Suyin, he must confront his fears and risk his own life to save everyone trapped belowโ€ฆbringing him face to face once more with the greatest and largest predator of all time.
