We learned in the previous UK Trailer for The Wild Robot, nature has it’s ‘defender’. Ahead of it’s release in October DreamWorks Animation release one final Trailer.
Just like in A Quite Place: Day One Lupita Nyong’o learns to adapt to her new way of life. This time she isn’t running away from giant invading monsters, it’s life as a stranded robot. In The Wild Robot she is the voice of Rozzum Unit 7134 or Roz who finds herself on an inhabited island. As Roz bonds with the animals who live on the island , her past threaten to destroy those animals.

From DreamWorks Animation comes a new adaptation of a literary sensation, Peter Brown’s beloved, award-winning, #1 New York Times bestseller, The Wild Robot.
The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
The Wild Robot stars Academy Award® winner Lupita Nyong’o (Us, The Black Panther franchise) as robot Roz; Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us, The Mandalorian) as fox Fink; Emmy winner Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek, Best in Show) as opossum Pinktail; Oscar® nominee Bill Nighy (Living, Love Actually) as goose Longneck; Kit Connor (Heartstopper, Rocketman) as gosling Brightbill and Oscar® nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once, this summer’s The Fall Guy) as Vontra, a robotthat will intersect with Roz’s life on the island.
The other voice cast include Pedro Pascal as fox Fink; Catherine O’Hara as opossum Pinktail; Bill Nighy as goose Longneck; Kit Connor as gosling Brightbill, and Stephanie Hsu as Vontra. Along with Mark Hamill, Matt Berry and Ving Rhames.
The Wild Robot will be released in the UK and Ireland from 18th October (27th September in the U.S).
