The Official JACK REACHER Trailer (aka One Shot) Drives Online!

Some of you maybe over the weekend frustratingly attempting to understand Russian when this arrived online unofficially but now you can breathe easily thrown the phrase books away as the official first trailer for JACK REACHER aka One Shot drives online!

Tom Cruise stars in The Christopher McQuarrie directed film adapt from Lee Child’s novel One Shot in which Cruise plays Jack Reacher who is the main character for the novelists other books too. Reacher is a former Military Police officer now homicide investigator who is an hard as nails tough guy who is tracking down a  mysterious sniper and when a suspect is arrested  he demands to get Jack Reacher for his defence. Reacher goes out on the town dishing out his own brand of vigilante law enforcement uncovering that this case is much more than  about a sniper.

There is a feeling of Ethan Hunt to Jack Reacher with scenes that would fit easily into a Fast&Furious film, but the question is will people be convinced that Cruise  can portray a tough guy, who takes no bullsh*t from no one? This is one of the outcry’s from the crime book series fans  as the Jack Reacher they know is 6 foot 5 inches intimidating stature but as we know  Mr Cruise is only about 5 foot 8, however Lee Childs has Cruise’s blessing  and Cruise has power to bring money at the box office. Love to know what you think especially if your a fan of the books.

Jack Reacher stars Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall, Richard Jenkins, David Oyelowo, and Werner Herzog (yes the one and only!) with the film arriving in UK&Ireland December 26th (USA 21st December). So this will mean 2 years in a row Tom Cruise will be our big Christmas box office star but as I said money talks and Tom Cruise can provide that!
