Odessa Young & Will Poulter Join Cast Of Thriller Series Rabbit, Rabbit
Joining Adam Driver in the Netflix hostage thriller
Netflix have announced that their hostage thriller series Rabbit, Rabbit has added Odessa Young and Will Poulter to the cast.
They will be joining the already announced Adam Driver and Regina Hall (One Battle After Another) in the series created by Peter Craig (The Batman, Top: Maverick) with Adolescence‘s Phil Barantini on directing duties.
Rabbit, Rabbit stars Driver as escaped convict J-Will who finds himself at a truck stop with the Police closing in on him. His only bargaining chip to getting out is taking hostages, but nothing goes to plan and he finds himself in an emotional poker game with the law enforcement’s negotiator.
Adam Driver is no stranger to Netflix, having starred in the streamer’s award winning Marriage Story, as well as appearing in Noah Baumbach’s apocalyptic satire White Noise. Young’s previous film was the rock biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, while Poulter was in Alex Garland’s shattering docudrama, Warfare.
Synopsis | When an escaped convict is cornered by law enforcement at a truck stop, he takes hostages in an effort to bargain for his freedom. But the standoff soon escalates into an unmanageable social experiment with his captives, as well as an emotional poker match with a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator trained in “tactical empathy.”
The streamer has yet to announce a release date for the series, but we’ll bring you more news when we have it.
