New The Mandalorian and Grogu Trailer Arrives!
LucasFilm have just released a new trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, which you can watch in all its glory below!
The upcoming feature installment in the Star Wars universe is based on the hit Disney+ series, which began airing in 2019 and ran for 3 seasons, concluding in 2023.
Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White are among the cast. Jon Favreau returns to direct the film and co-writes with Dave Filoni.
Producers reportedly include Favreau, Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Ian Bryce. Award-winner Ludwig Göransson has also provided an original score.
Chatting to The Hollywood Reporter, Favreau previously said on directing the film: “To come back together and have the scale and scope of the big screen to tell a story with characters people already know in a brand-new adventure that can … part of what we’ve set out to do is something that rewards people who have been with the show since the beginning, who have been with Star Wars since the beginning. But since we’re on the big screen, it’s an opportunity to reach out to a whole new audience with a whole new adventure and certainly with Grogu — certainly all the kids know who that is, and this is an opportunity to bring them to the theater.”
Synopsis | “The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.”
The Mandalorian and Grogu will be released in UK & Irish cinemas on 22nd May.
