New Star Trek Into Darkness UK TV Spot,Banners, Motion Poster
Just under 4 weeks times JJ Abrams will boldly go where no one has gone before when Star Trek Into Darkness arrives in UK cinemas.Paramount Pictures are making sure we won’t forget its coming by releasing a flurry new Trekkie goodies with a new UK TV Spot and Banner, poster plus a really nifty motion poster.
First up we have the new UK spot doesn’t show off much new footage but once again teasing us wickedly on who John Harrison is (Benedict Cumberbatch) and what his relationship is with Kirk (Chris Pine). In a new poster we see Uhura (Zoe Saldana) looking like she means business as unstoppable force of terror attempts to attack her, below that (and above) we have a simple UK banner which has 3 of Starfleet’s finest ready for action with a former turn enemy.Top everything off with a really cool motion poster which seems combine the posters we’ve already seen with some action in the background too.
Earlier this week I was fortunate to catch on Imax a 45 minute press preview.My final outcome I was impressed not just because it was my first experience of IMAX but enough to see there plenty of exciting tense & explosive action, lots of homage to the original tv series, cheesy humour and suggestions we may see more action grounded in Earth! This Tuesday (possibly Wednesday depending on time of release) watch out for a new trailer arriving online.
Star Trek Into Darkness will beam into UK& Irish cinemas from 9th May (USA 17th May) also stars Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, Noel Clarke.
