The second Trailer for Disney’s Live action version of Mulan is now online. The new trailer showcases the film will be epic in size and full of action.
Disney promised this one will break the mould of not actually been a like for like remake. It will honour the original 1998 animation but respecting, the Chinese story the legend Hua Mulan. What this trailer does do, is introduce us to the film’s primary Witch villain, played by Gong Li.
Mulan tells the story of a young woman (Liu Yifei) who takes her place of her father, an honoured warrior. When the Imperial Army calls to arms when a foreign threat looms.
2019 was a shaky year for Disney live action films. Going on evidence of this trailer, 2020 might just be a good one…

“Mulan” features a celebrated international cast that includes: Yifei Liu as Mulan; Donnie Yen as Commander Tung; Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan; Yoson An as Cheng Honghui; with Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as the Emperor. The film is directed by Niki Caro from a screenplay by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver and Elizabeth Martin & Lauren Hynek based on the narrative poem “The Ballad of Mulan.”
Mulan still doesn’t have a confirmed release date apart from ‘Spring 2020‘. Could it be 27th March 2020?
