New Rogue One: A Star Wars Story TV Spot Delivers Hope ‘Together’

The Christmas ads are slowly appearing on TV and in newspapers, usually brings a unanimous groan. For a cinephile  it means we’re getting really close to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and today we kick off with a new TV Spot. The new promo is called ‘Together’ and Rebellions are built on hope and Disney hope in 38 days time (39 in the USA) you will be together with them!Check it out…

The new TV Spot does have a lot of footage we’ve seen before but there is some new footage that makes this new video worth a look. Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) rallies the troops, the Rebellion but what may get you excited is a few shots of the new ‘X-Wing’ crafts!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story  takes place just before the original Star Wars Movie when a band of unlikely heroes come together united in one goal. To steal the plans of the Empire new destructive weapon….The Deathstar.

“We have hope. … Rebellions are built on hope” the rallying cry of Jyn Erso. This new spot might only be 45 seconds long but it’s probably the best look at the rebels since the promotion for the movie started. Jyn does take up most of the focus giving us the first real look for her as a leader compared to the trailer which was more in her background.

We are now slowly creeping into the last 4 weeks of promotion for Rogue One which means we will start to see more of these tv spots, clips from the movie too at a fast pace. If you’re a fan of Star Wars franchise you’ll need no encouragement to see this, if you respect the original franchise  to no problems either. So are you ready?

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to arrive in cinemas in the UK, Ireland 15th December with getting the movie the USA the following day 16th December. Also starring Mads Mikkelsen, Forrest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk.
