New Heartfelt Trailer For Asif Kapadia’s AMY
On the wave of positive publicity the film’s full trailer launched, a film labelled ‘Controversial’ but leaves you asking who was to blame for the tragic death of Amy Winehouse?
It’s very rare to see films worthy of its 5 star reviews but it seems AMY is hitting the right notes delivering an emotion we rarely get to experience when we go to the cinema.
AMY tells the sad story of once-in-a-generation talent and a pure jazz artist in the most authentic sense, Amy Winehouse wrote and sung from the heart using her musical gifts to analyse her own problems. The combination of her raw honesty and supreme talent resulted in some of the most original and adored songs of the modern era.
The film will have some unseen archive footage of the singer and previously unheard tracks, making the film a must for fans.
If there was a case against privacy of celebrity’s life been invaded by the paparazzi Amy Winehouse life could be that perfect example. She became bait for the press and no one likes to see anyone die especially a woman of 27. This trailer does showcase her talents( which she had many) but one that will pull at your heartstrings. I wasn’t a fan of her music but this looks an intriguing film and on the word of the Cannes Critics one fans of the tragic star will adore.
