New 300: Rise Of An Empire UK Trailer Delivers The Ecstasy Of War ‘Porn’

Steel, Flesh, rage ! War is here! Seize Your glory  Avenge him as this is Sparta!!! Well not really its the brand new third UK trailer for 300: Rise Of An Empire That Delivers  the Ecstasy of War that only Spartan Warriors can fantasize about.

When 300 hit our cinemas 8 years ago it was the visual styling that captured the film’s comic elements perfectly as well been a good example a green screen /CGI used well. The film also came under attack from critics for it’s nonsensical fun approach that encouraged you to leave your brain at home , we enjoyed and 300: An Of An Empire looks like it’ll deliver much of the same even though Zack Snyder is only on writing duties this time

The battle continues when Greek’s finest warriors lead by Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton)take the battle to the seas against the Persians still ruled by Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro). The Persian Wannabe God has falling under the spell Artemisia (Eva Green) the general of Persian Naval to lead his war to become Greece’s leader.

With the unusual choice (but one we approve of) Black Sabbath with a unique remix of ‘War Pigs’ sets up the tone of film nicely. The prospect of Queen Gorga (Lena Headey) picking up a sword avenging her husband’s death is mouth watering especially when we have a hunch she’ll confront Xerxes maybe even Artemisia showing us why Spartan women don’t fear death from a sword!

300:Rise Of An Empire will sail into UK cinemas from 7th March co-starring David Wenham , Jack OConnell, Hans Matheson

Synopsis

Based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes, and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster “300,” this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield—on the sea—as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war.  300: Rise of an Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemesia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
