Netflix Confirm Renewal for Wednesday Second Season

Netflix have confirmed they have Wednesday Addams on their minds with renewing Wednesday for a second season.

The streaming giants put fans of the show’s minds at ease with the confirmation via their official Twitter account. After gossip started to appear online that the Addams Family spin-off maybe heading to another channel.

Via Tudum, show creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said “It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world. Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive head first into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”

We also have a promo teaser which Wednesday herself (played by Jenny Ortega) reflects on things. She’s now more popular than ever with millions mimicking her, hunting and even haunting her.

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy, where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

There isn’t a lot of info on what the new season will be about. Netflix said they will announce more info on closer to time when Wednesday Season 2 will launch 23rd November.
