Mr. Creamjeans’ Hidey Hole Review (2026 Fantastic Fest)
Frequently hilarious and utterly shameless, this genital obsessed Grindhouse anthology is like being forced to crouch behind the world’s gushiest glory hole. You never really know what size, shape, or condition the next penis will be. The only sure thing is that another one will be shoved in your face before long.
Harry has been summoned to the degenerate sex museum of Mr. Creamjeans. It seems the kinky curator is blackmailing him into making a personal contribution to his array of carnal curiosities. In return, the purveyor of crude memorabilia will hand over incriminating footage of Harry’s highly unusual, and very messy, sexual misadventures. This interaction serves as a Creepshow-style wraparound for a series of outrageous vignettes, each invoked by one of Mr. Creamjeans’ questionably erotic artefacts.
Welcome to Peckergeddon as Heath Benfield and his Misfit Parade collective cram as many Phalli as possible into 70 disgraceful minutes of lowest-denominator gutter sniping. The film’s intentions are quickly laid bare, one of which is to make Troma Entertainment look like Merchant Ivory, as three are destroyed in the first five minutes, including one melted by acid squirted from a demonic vagina.
What follows is a genuinely exhaustive and surprisingly eclectic catalogue of male members. Some are 30ft long, some contain deadly payloads, some are stress-tested to eye-watering limits, others pop up in physically literal places, and one appears to be interdimensional. If you think this review already has too many organ references, then you are not prepared for Mr. Creamjeans’ joystick journey, never mind his horny hidey hole.
Despite its cartoonish vibe and evident micro-budget, 90% of which must have been blown on rubber weenies, the film also has a nasty streak of dubious frat boy levity. Things can stray uncomfortably far from consensual, and there are shady smatterings of casual female mutilation. In one of the segments, the serial slasher, dubbed ‘The Snail Trail Killer‘, has a ‘costume’ fashioned entirely of desecrated lady gardens. A sort of clitoral cape, if you will. It’s absolutely disgusting, vile, offensive, and regrettably amusing. The use of tuna fish cans as bait for the maniac would normally represent a thematic nadir; in this case, it’s nothing more than an aggregate baseline.
Elsewhere, the script is car crash entertainment personified in its quest to scrape the bottom of the barrel to a molecular level of emaciation. For example, there is a reference to Richard Gere’s ‘ass hamster’, a blatant urban myth resurrection ancient enough to flummox an entire generation of filth seekers. Incidentally, from an entirely anal observation of my own, the creatures referred to as gerbils later in the film are actually miscast hamsters.
Occasionally the mask of juvenile superficiality slips to reveal flashes of comedic sophistication. One such moment, involving a sperm shooting sidearm, borders on genius in its farcical irony. Mostly, though, this is purely an exercise in determining one’s tolerance for wang-based whimsy and todger-centric titillation.
It’s the type of flick that tells you as much about yourself as about the hell-bound souls that made it. The kind of movie that sprang up from the grassroots of counterculture before cancellation consequences. Primal screams from filmmakers who valued artistic freedom above pearl-clutching and virtue signalling.
Promiscuous, pervy and wilfully warped, Mr. Creamjeans’ Hidey Hole is cinema for people who probably require some form of psychological help, made by people who presumably never sought any.
