Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One Is Top Dog At Official Film Chart

It looks like ‘mission completed’ as Mission: Impossible โ Dead Reckoning Part One flies high once again on the Official Film Chart.
Following its release on disc, Mission: Impossible โ Dead Reckoning Part One marks its third non-consecutive week at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart, ousting previous chart-topper Barbie (2) and selling almost twice as many copies in the last seven days.
Poirot murder-mystery A Haunting in Venice lands at Number 3 this week, earning the title of the biggest film of the week on digital downloads.
Our highest new entry of the week comes from The Expendables 4 (also stylised as Expend4bles).
The action series continues with its ensemble cast, which includes Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture, plus some new faces including 50 Cent, Megan Fox and Tony Jaa. The Expendables are the worldโs โlast line of defenceโ, and the team that gets called when there are no other options. But with the addition of these new team members, things could be turned upside-down.
Further down The Super Mario Bros. Movie jumps ack up three to Number 6, while we see a second brand new entry from The Exorcist: Believer which debuts at Number 9.
50 years on from the original events of The Exorcist, two young girls show signs of demonic possession, it unleashes a chain of events that forces single father Victor (Leslie Odom Jr.) to seek out Chris MacNeil, whose daughter Regan suffered the same fifty years earlier. Ellen Burstyn reprises her role of Chris MacNeil, while Linda Blair appears once more as Regan MacNeil from the original 1973 film.
Rounding out this weekโs Top 10, former chart-topper Fast X makes a speedy return as it rises three to Number 10.
