Michael Mann’s Blackhat Gets First UK trailer

He saved us all with his Nordic Hammer but in Michael Mann‘s Blackhat Chris Hemsworth is saving the world once again this time  fighting cybercrime  watch the first official UK trailer.

Set within the world of global cybercrime, Legendary’s Blackhat follows a furloughed convict and his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta.

If your looking for Mann’s  trademark visual style Blackhat has it, don’t expect Hemsworth  tapping away ferociously behind a PC keyboard he will chase, chase and chase! It’s refreshing to see the Australian lead proves his worth outside the comic book movie world, last time he had the chance in Rush he impressed alot of critics and this could bring further success opening him upto to other genre movies. This trailer impresses us from start to finish with reminiscent at times to the director’s best ever film, Heat and if he captures the  elements that made his cult so magical Blackhat will be one hell of film to kick off 2015!

Blackhat will arrive in UK cinemas from 20th February 2015 and co-stars Viola Davis, Tang Wei, Wang Leehom
