Love And Dior For Lesley Manville In Mrs Harris Goes To Paris First Trailer

You ready to follow your dream? Mrs Harris is and she wants that dress no matter the cost. Universal Pictures have released the official first UK Trailer for Mrs Harris Goes To Paris and Lesley Manville is in love with the Dior!

For this one, the film is based on the Paul Gallico novel ‘Mrs Harris Goes To Paris‘. We find ourselves in 1950’s London in a story of widowed cleaning lady (Manville) who adore Dior. Most of all she wants is one of those expensive Christian Dior dresses. Working herself off, sacrificing to fund her dream and head of to the French capital to buy it changing her outlook and the House Of Dior itself.

Comedy, mixed in with following that dream and dressmaking looks like a recipe for a uplifting story. A little cheesy but a story that will probably bring a nice big grin to many cinephiles.

In partnership with the House of Dior, MRS HARRIS GOES TO PARIS tells the story of a widowed cleaning lady in 1950s London who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress and decides that she must have one of her own. After she works, starves and gambles to raise the funds to pursue her dream, she embarks on an adventure to Paris which will change not only her own outlook, but the very future of the House of Dior.

The rest of the cast also includes Isabelle Huppert, Jason Isaacs, Anna Chancellor, Lambert Wilson, Alba Baptista, Lucas Bravo, and Rose Williams.

Mr Harris Goes To Paris will be released in UK and Irish Cinemas from 30th September. If you live in the USA you can see the film from 15th July.
