In this new episode, I am joined by Rosie Bailey and Bradley Whittam to discuss Supergirl, while James Morton joins me for Jackass: Best and Last.

After the success of last year’s Superman, starring David Corenswet as the iconic Kryptonian hero, it is now time for his cousin Kara Zor-El to take centre stage. Milly Alcock teased her character in last year’s film, but in Craig Gillespie‘s movie the spotlight is now firmly on her.

When we first meet Kara, she is drinking her life away day after day. Everything changes when Ruthye (Eve Ridley) approaches her for help. Seeking vengeance against Crem of the Brigand (Matthias Schoenaerts), Kara is pulled into a mission she cannot ignore, especially when someone close to her needs something only Crem possesses. Jason Momoa also stars, but does the film deliver the goods?

Finally, I welcome James for his debut appearance on The Chronicle to chat about Jackass: Best and Last. Twenty-six years after the first episode aired on MTV, Johnny Knoxville and the gang return to the big screen for one final adventure. But is this really a fitting swan song? James shares his thoughts on the film and whether it is worth your hard-earned cash.
