Just when you thought we were forgotten, we’re back! The Chronicle Episode 55 is here! With a review of the horror Whistle starring Dafne Keen.

A shorter, solo episode for Ros Tibbs, who recently joined the writers team at The People’s Movies. Whistle is based on the M.R James short story Whistle, and I’ll Come to You. We follow a misfit group of unwitting high school studentswho  stumble upon a cursed object, an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. They discover that blowing the whistle and the terrifying sound it emits will summon their future deaths to hunt them down.

In 2026, we are looking at freshening things up a little, which could be shorter solo episodes, or the more traditional 2 hosts. Everything from new films to classic films and everything in between to curb those longer waits between episodes.
