Let’s Tray again Megalopolis Official Trailer Take 2

Call it karma or just a misunderstood PR movie, Francis Ford Coppola‘s Megalopolis main trailer had to be taken down. A couple of weeks on EFD Films have went back to the drawing board and today we have a new version, take 2!

Not going into the reasons for the take down did that trailer damage the film’s reputation? Or was this a deliberate ploy? Whatever you think, the film is only a few weeks away from release, we will judge it from reviewing the film.

Mr. Coppola’s passion project Megalopolis stars Adam Driver in what is a Roman Empire inspired sci-fi. Cesar Catilina (Driver) wants to create his utopian future for his city, he has opposition. Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito) has his plans and they are to keep the corruption as it is now.

For some reason this looks a lot better, will the film be too?

MEGALOPOLIS is a Roman Epic fable set in an imagined Modern America. The City of New Rome must change, causing conflict between Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver), a genius artist who seeks to leap into a utopian, idealistic future, and his opposition, Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito), who remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare. Torn between them is socialite Julia Cicero (Nathalie Emmanuel), the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.

Megalopolis will be released in the UK, Ireland and the U.S (Lionsgate Films in U.S) on 27th September. The film also stars  Nathalie Emmanuel, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Talia Shire, Jason Schwartzman, Kathryn Hunter, Grace VanderWaal, Chloe Fineman, James Remar, D.B. Sweeney, and Dustin Hoffman.
