June Squibb In Eleanor The Great In First Trailer For Scarlett Johansson’s Directorial Debut

Sony Pictures Classics has released the first trailer for the upcoming film Eleanor the Great, which you can watch below!

The directorial debut of Scarlett Johansson (Jurassic Park Rebirth, Avengers: Endgame), the film stars Oscar Nominee June Squibb as the lead character, and brings to vivid life the witty and proudly troublesome 94-year-old Eleanor Morgenstein, who after a devastating loss, tells a tale that takes on a dangerous life of its own. A comically poignant exploration of how the stories we hear become the stories we tell. Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, The Life of Chuck), Erin Kellyman (28 Years Later, Blitz), co-star, as do Jessica Hecht and Rita Zohar.

The film is written by Tory Kamen.
