Join the gang in new posters for The Peanuts Movie

Ahead of its release later in the year, 20th Century Fox have sent us some cool new character posters for Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie.

It is hard to believe that Charlie Brown and his beloved dog Snoopy haven’t had a big screen outing until now. Based on a comic strip created by Charles M Schulz in 1950, the Peanuts gang have had a lot of success with television specials, but later this year we will finally get to see them on the big screen.

In film, Snoopy takes to the skies to take on his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, whilst his best bud Charlie brown undertakes an epic quest of his own…

Instead of the traditional animation, Blue Sky have given the characters a 3D makeover, and we have to admit, it looks pretty good. Judge for yourself below with the trailer, and four new character posters of Linus, Lucy, Charlie Brown, and Snoopy.

There is no confirmed release date as yet, but the film will be released later on in the year.
