Every generation has a story and in the latest TV Spot for Star Wars:The Force Awakens, the new generation to the franchise and Rey especially. After last week’s unexpected international trailer revealing new footage, the new video unveils even more footage.

As the countdown becomes 5 weeks Disney Pictures amp up the next stage of of Star Wars promotion with the first of what probably be many tv spots. It’s a logical move and as ever best to kick off with a good one that has snippets if new footage and dialogue to get any hardcore fan more excited about chapter 7 than Christmas. Here’s hoping they don’t fall in the trap revealing too much in these upcoming promos spoiling the fun for everyone.

The new footage is all about Rey (Daisy Ridley) but with an unudentified character narrating, many believe it could be Maz Kanata played by Lupita Nyong’o. She says “lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people.” whilst we see Rey hinting that a possible connection(s) to a character from the original film, could this also connect to that recent Japanese trailer which seem to hint on her parentage? Is she another Jedi warrior the Empire missed? Or simply the tagline every generation has a story meaning people getting older but wars are new, new generation same old reasons for war?We also get a few quick looks at Han Solo, Millenium Falcon in action along with Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron too.

Not long now as Star Wars:The Force Awakens arrives, 17th December  starring John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher,Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Warwick Davis and Max Von Sydow.
