“Hey Gringo…Who Is Armando Alvarez?” UK Teaser Trailer For CASA DE MI PADRE

So Who is Armando Alvarez? Finally the UK&Irish marketing train for Will Ferrell’s homage to all things Westerns,  telenovelas CASA DE MI PADRE has got itself a UK Teaser trailer. Ferrell brings the gringo to the Western in a Spanish language comedy which looks over the top craziness the way we love Will Ferrell to be and as I’ve learned over the years with the actor never expect the unexpected!! To make things more authentic we have a Spanish speaking cast Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, Genesis Rodriguez, to name a few.

I don’t know where this one started possibly a Saturday Night Live sketch or just simple love of old school western’s what ever way Will Ferrell fans will love this as much as we do here at The People’s Movies HQ. What I find ironic my friend who is the biggest Will Ferrell fan in the world (he said that not me) loves this film but still refuses to watch any other subtitled films, I asked him what’s the difference? he just refuses to answer!

A big thanks to studio Canal who have sent us this UK Teaser trailer and poster we dont have the UK release date however we can assume this will be a summer release if not earlier, USA film fans can catch the film March 16th.

Armando Alvarez (Will Ferrell) has lived and worked on his father’s ranch in Mexico his entire life. As the ranch encounters financial difficulties, Armando’s younger brother Raul (Diego Luna), shows up with his new fiancé, Sonia (Genesis Rodriguez​). It seems that Raul’s success as an international businessman means the ranch’s troubles are over as he pledges to settle all debts his father has incurred.
