Our first official look at the anticipated sequel with Danny Trejo returning as the film’s hero showing off the films all star cast and that the follow up to the 2011 film will be as trashy and fun as before. The cult film not known for its skillfully written scripts gets down to business really quick with guns, boobs, sexy senoritas and missile’s galore as he spreads his brand anarchy justice upon the evil tycoons that are out to get his badass.
Machete Kills sees Machete been called into action by none other than El Presidente thats President of United States (Charlie Sheen!!!) when he must take down a madman revolutionary (Mel Gibson) and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and chaos.
I’ve only recently seen seen Machete and enjoyed the no brainer fun and the new film looks no different on the crazy no bars hold entertainment levels. The cast is bigger than ever and hopefully Rodriguez has finally found the right balance thats been lacking in his previous films. Lady Gaga, Cuba Gooding Jr., Sofia Vergara, Vanessa Hudgens, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana, Edward James Olmos, William Sadler, Mark Zaror, Antonio Banderas, Demián Bichir all make up the rest of the cast and probably a few more surprises too.
Machete Kills has no confirmed UK&Irish release date but if you live over the pond in USA it’s 13th September for you guys.
Synopsis
