Harley Quinn Is ‘Coming Home’ With Birds Of Prey This Month

Like many films thee days, Digital formats getting a big push, in these pandemic days. So it’s no surprise Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn will arrives onto Digital later this month.

Margot Robbie reprises her role as the endearingly daring ne’er-do-well Harley Quinn. Now free of J (The Joker), Harley soon realises she is not free of her shackles. Soon she becomes targets from many people from Gotham’s underworld especially one nefarious villain Black Mask. The city is turned upside down when she decides to help a young girl who has a precious jewel Black Mask wants. Harley’s path crosses with 3 other women whom have no choice to team up.

When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis (Ewan McGregor), and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz (Chris Messina), put a target on a young girl named Cass (Ella Jay Basco), the city is turned upside down looking for her. Unprotected and on the run, Harley (Margot Robbie) faces their wrath. Quinn, Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez)’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.

This film is directed by Cathy Yan with Robbie producing and written by Christina Hodson. Cast members also include Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, and Ewan McGregor as DC Super-Villain Roman Sionis aka Black Mask. Newcomer Ella Jay Basco also stars as Cassandra “Cass” Cain in her feature film debut.

Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn arrives onto Digital on April 27 and 4K, Blu-rayTM and DVD from June 15.
