G-Men Are Ruthless In New UK TV Spot For Gangster Squad
It’s going to be the first big film of 2013, kicking things off for the new year and in the new 60 second UK TV Spot for Ruben Fleischer’s Gangster Squad The G-Men are ruthless with no one standing in their way!
After several months of turmoil thanks to tragic events in USA at the Dark Knight Rises screening, re-shoots, many other on/off screen problems we’re now only 4 weeks away from what we hope is the first unmissable film of the new year. Gangster Squad is based on Paul Lieberman’s book set in 1949 the film stars Josh Brolin a former cop who returns from military service in World War 2 and goes to Los Angeles to lead a Police task force to take on the organised crime creeping into LA from East coast lead by mobster linchpin Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn).
The new spot certainly provides new fresh footage which hopefully help erase any fears that this film is lacking in explosive action with Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn’s characters facing off with a gunfight. From this video it looks like we have a frantic film on our hands , plenty of style looks intriguing a film we’re all looking forward to here at The People’s Movies despite the questionable music.
Gangster Squad is due out 11 January 2013 and stars ,Emma Stone,Michael Peña,Ryan Gosling, Robert Patrick , Anthony Mackie and Nick Nolte.
