Friday August 21st Movie Choice of the week + new releases

It wasn’t a hard choice this week but Inglorious Basterds is the movie of the week…There’s not any other challengers to Tarantino’s World War 2 epic, a movie that took him nearly 10 years to write the script. So far worldwide the response has been fairly mixed with the negative reviews seeming to come lets just say more conservative or broadsheet media (though is there is few who do like it). Think  about it, its a Tarantino movie, you know what your getting and if you dont like it well dont watch it!

Anyway here’s the plot for those who dont know whats all about:

During World War II a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers. – imdb
