First TV Spots For David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

The first tv spots of David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo have arrived online. I know alot of people tend to ignore the spots but they are a fantastic source of promotion for any film as they do show off snippets of new footage like in these 2 spots which are simply fantastic. Both TV Spots concentrate on Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara) compared to the trailers which are more towards Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) but if you have read the books or watched the original films you’ll know the first film Mikael is essentially main character with The Girl Who Played With Fire essentially Lisbeth’s film. Out of the films coming out over Christmas/Boxing Day I’m looking forward to them all but most is this one and after watching these 2 fantastic tv spots Im sure I wont be the only person looking forward to this one!

Daniel Craig plays ‘disgraced’  investigative journelist Mikael  Blomkvist who just lost a legal case with someone whose he was investigating is hired by Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer), patriarch of a family who have some very nasty dark secrets to investigate the murder of Henrik’s niece Harriet a murder thats haunted Henrik for 40 years or more. Eventually  Blomkvist joins forces with hacker researcher Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara) who both work on the mystery unveiling  even more complicated dark secrets.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara,Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik, Yorick van Wageningen, Bengt C.W. Carlsson, Mathilda von Essen and Goran Visnjic with the film arriving in UK &Ireland on December 26th.
