First Official Look At Ripped Hugh Jackman As The Wolverine!

After the disappointment of X-Men Origins:Wolverine when talk of a possible of sequel was on the cards fans ran a mile. After a couple of years in development hell things got excited when Darren Arnofosky came onboard then disappeared however what his involvement did was get fans excited about the sequel once more, James Mangold no stranger to action films came onboard and 2013 the film will arrive. Today Twentieth Century Fox Pictures have whisked us over the first official image for The Wolverine and Logan aka Wolverine is an character with a ripped toned  Physique and as you’ll see from the image Hugh Jackman is ripped!

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.

The image may not be revealing anything we haven’t seen before but fans will just give it a sigh of relief that Jackman is flexing the claws! We’re hoping also they keep to their word by stripping back X-Men’s favourite Canadian to a lean mean killing machine that’s brutal and the image below certainly reveals he may well be that. Japan is one of those countries I love but never been to but adore it’s culture in all its shapes and sizes so I’m really keen to see where they’ll take this Japanese based story!

The Wolverine is set for an 26th July 2013 release date.
