Alice Cooper’s School’s Out is one iconic rock song, like the Summer anthem for school kids everywhere for holidays. You wonder why no one has been inspired by the song or in this case a line, next month Rebellion will release School’s Out Forever.
The post apocalyptic thriller is directed by Oliver Milburn and marks the director’s first feature since his 2012 vampire revenge flick Harsh Light Of Day. Based on the Novel by Scott K Andrews, School’s Out Forever, tells the story of a teen boy attempting to flee his school after an apocalyptic event.
This film is also the film to kick off Rebellion‘s film slate and today they have sent us a selection of images from the film …
No sooner has 15-year-old Lee Keegan been expelled from his private school than an apocalyptic event wipes out most of the world’s population. With his father dead and mother trapped abroad, Lee is given one instruction: go back to school. But safety and security at St. Mark’s School for Boys is in short supply. Its high walls can’t stop the local parish council from forming a militia and imposing marshal law, while inside the dorms the end of the world is having a dangerous effect on his best friend and his unrequited crush on the school nurse isn’t helping him concentrate on staying alive.
The film stars Oscar Kennedy, Liam Lau Fernandez, Alex Macqueen, Samantha Bond, Jasmine Blackborow with Steve Oram and Anthony Head.
School’s Out Forever releases in the UK on VOD on 15th February and on DVD & Blu-ray from 12th April.
