First Look at The Duffer Brothers’ Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen

Netflix have revealed the first look images for their upcoming horror series, Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen.

The eight episode limited series is produced by Matt and Ross Duffer in what will be their first project after Stranger Things and the show is created and written by showrunner Haley Z. Boston (Hunters, Brand New Cherry Flavor).

Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen stars Camila Morrone and Adam DiMarco, with a supporting cast that includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine, Sawyer Fraser, Karla Crome, Jeff Wilbusch and Gus Birney.

What we know about this series is that each episode focuses on one particularly eventful day. The setting is a wedding, following the bride and groom in the run-up to the ceremony, one where their paranoia comes into play, and strange events involving the guests take place.

The brothers commented “We were knocked flat when we first read Haley’s script. She is a major new talent with a singular voice — her writing is twisted, terrifying, funny, and just … very Haley. We feel so lucky to be producing her first show, and we can’t wait to share her vision with the rest of the world.”
