First Look At Netflix’s Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman

It’s been a long time coming and this Autumn Martin Scorsese‘s The Irishman will finally be released. This evening the film was announced it will have it’s World Premiere at New York Film Festival, Netflix released first look images.

The movie also marks the third outing Scorsese has worked Robert De Niro. The veteran actor has been in limbo for a long time since De Niro, Joes Pesci and Harvey Keitel. They are joined by Al Pacino completing a fabulous line up, which may capture the old magic but seeing these guys sharing a film set is worth a look.


Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th Century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary Union President Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

The Irishman will launch globally on Netflix this Autumn. The actual date still to be confirmed, it’s World Premiere at New York Film Festival will be 27th September.
