The Walking Dead Season 7 maybe finally hotting up, but this Summer it will get even hotter when Season 3 of Fear Of The Walking Dead returns. Set for a Summer release AMC UK are teasing us with the launch of new images and a synopsis, but do they spoil things reveal the outcome of one of the characters? If you don’t want to know please hit the back button, if yes read on…
As you’ll remember the season 2 finale left us with an emotional cliffhanger when Colonia leader Luciana (Danay GarcÃa) was shot. As she led her people in a rebellion at the Mexican/Californian border, but as you’ll see from the image below she might be still hanging on and in the arms of her boyfriend Nick (Frank Dillane).
In the next two images, we see Strand (Colman Domingo) who looks to be deep thinking probably about his next plan. In the final image, we see Madison (Kim Dickens) and her boyfriend Travis (Cliff Curtis) look to have made up again.
As “Fear the Walking Dead” returns for season three, our families will be brought together in the vibrant and violent ecotone of the U.S.-Mexico border. International lines done away with following the world’s end, our characters must attempt to rebuild not only society, but family as well. Madison (Kim Dickens) has reconnected with Travis (Cliff Curtis), her apocalyptic partner, but Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) has been fractured by her murder of Andres. Madison’s son mere miles from his mother, Nick’s (Frank Dillane) first action as a leader saw Luciana (Danay Garcia) ambushed by an American militia group — the couple escaped death, but Nick no longer feels immortal. Recovering both emotionally and physically, Strand (Colman Domingo) has his sights set on harnessing the new world’s currency, and Ofelia’s (Mercedes Mason) captivity will test her ability to survive and see if she can muster the savagery of her father.
It’s been a hard road for Fear Of The Walking Dead and Season 2 proved The Walking Dead spin-off can deliver, will season 3 raise the show’s profile even further? We do hope so as we do love this show even if the pace kills it for some folks. With a certain ‘All Out War’ story arc about to enter TWD, the fear of The Walking Dead is perfect to keep the momentum brewing.
No word yet when Fear Of The Walking Dead Season 3 will air on AMC apart from ‘Summer’. Catch up on AMC Channel on BT TV every Monday.
