First Clip From Marvel One Shot Agent Carter Short Arrives

Comic Con is the geek boy/girl’s wet dream but can be a film website’s nightmare trying to keep a grasp on reality by trying to cover every single exciting morsel you can get your hands on. As the Marvel Entertainment roots are in comic books they certainly know how to excite those lucky to attend, they revealed that the latest short or Marvel Shot Agent Carter and today we get a first look at the short with a ass kicking clip.

Agent Peggy Carter played by British actress Hayley Atwell was last seen weeping at the disappearance of Steve Rodgers in Captain America:First Avenger.Now a year on after the bittersweet this new clip shows she is capable kicking some serious ass in what is a male dominated time as she attempts to get her life together. She joins S.H.I.E.L.D but her new boss (played by Bradley Whitford) is nothing but a sexist who thinks a woman’s place she be limited to behind a desk . But resourceful Agent Carter disagree and goes off to investigate a tip-off.

Agent Carter proves she’s a feisty independent woman who can easily handle her own in this world, so it’s nice to her character continuing despite knowing she won’t play a role in the new Captain America Film. When the short was shown to the lucky folks in the hall at Marvel SDCC panel the enraptured action certainly got the audience. Will she get her own movie or could we see her in a retro themes S.H.I.E.L.D film? Let’s hope Marvel keep the momentum running by including more Marvel Shots in future home releases, it’s worked for Pixar so why not Marvel?

Agent Carter Marvel One shot will be one of the extras which will be on Iron Man 3 home release which will be released in UK on DVD, Blu Ray from 9th September. The short was directed by Louis D’Esposito (who also made last Marvel Shot Item 47) and also stars Dominic Cooper.
