Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them First Trailer Takes Us Back To Wizarding World
When a a franchise as popular as Harry Potter ends, it always leaves an empty void for fans. Fantastic Beats And Where To Find Them will be that welcoming return for the fans vetting for a return to that wizarding world they love and today you can enjoy the film’s first trailer!
Warner Bros unveil the first video promo of the prequel that will take us back to the magical world J.K Rowling created and when you hear that familiar Potter score, you know why this film’s timely return will be welcomed.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
It might be 11 months until the film reaches our cinema screens, but past couple of weeks many of the big Summer tentpole films (Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, X-Men: Apocalypse, Independence Day: Resurgence, and Star Trek Beyond). It maybe a winter 2016 release but with the Summer packed to the rafters with so many big films the film might be lost , so we can’t blame Warner Bros getting a foot in the action.
The trailer doesn’t reveal anything more announcing the film and teasing us our anticipations. It’s early days and you can understand this, but getting the first footing is essential. What we do get is a clear look at several of the leading characters from Katherine Waterston Porpentina, Colin Farrell’s Graves, Carmen Ejogo as Seraphina (doing her best impression of Effie Trinkett from Hunger Games). Most of all Eddie Redmayne as our bumbling hero Newt Scamander with his bag of creatures that’s like a Tardis, so small but so deep and mysterious. The hope is creatively this is not been made for the sake of making to keep fans happy, but as a creative piece that plays in the right direction to fit nicely into the world of Harry Potter.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will arrive in UK 18th November 2016 co-starring Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman, Jenn Murray and Faith Wood-Blagrove.
