Evil Will Find You In The UK Trailer For Host

Will you sleep well tonight after you watch this Trailer? Evil will find you in the UK Trailer for Host, the critically acclaimed indie British horror for Shudder is set for an UK and Irish cinema release in December, courtesy of Vertigo Releasing.

The film may only run it 50 minutes long, but in the era of lockdown, this is made entirely on Zoom. If you use the software for work or to communicate, you not want to after you watch this!

Six friends hire a medium to hold a seance via Zoom during lockdown, but they get far more than they bargained for as things quickly go wrong.

Very few films that come with a big buzz rarely live up to that reputation, this one so far is living up to that. I know to many critic reviews mean nothing to many cinefiles, however this film is delivering the rave reviews. First it was The Blair Witch Project, then it was Paranormal Activity, now it’s Host!

Six friends get together during lockdown for their weekly zoom call. It’s Haley’s turn to organise an activity and instead of a quiz, she’s arranged for a medium to conduct a séance. Bored and feeling mischievous, Jemma decides to have some fun and invents a story about a boy in her school who hanged himself. However, her prank gives license for a demonic presence to cross over, taking on the guise of the boy in Jemma’s made-up story. The friends begin noticing strange occurrences in their homes as the evil presence begins to make itself known, and they soon realise that they might not survive the night. A SHUDDER ORIGINAL.

The film stars Haley Bishop, Radina Drandova, Edward Linard, Jemma Moore, Caroline Ward, and Emma Louise Webb. Rob Savage directs this film.

Host will be released in cinemas and on digital platforms on 4th December. There will be special Halloween screenings with an exclusive cast and crew Q&A will be taking place at the following cinemas Rio Dalston, Filmhouse Edinburgh, Firstsite Colchester, Belmont Aberdeen, Storyhouse Chester, Mareel Shetland, Macroberts Arts Stirling. As well as select Curzon, Empire and Odeon cinemas nationwide.
