Is Emma Stone To Appear In The Next Amazing Spiderman Movie?

Let’s be honest every second new movie project is a comic book movie so rumours come thick and fast on what, who, when will be in them. One of the movies it doesn’t seem to be overloaded with rumours is The Amazing Spiderman 3 but things are changing and there’s an possibility that one of the characters maybe returning, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey.

The 3 sequel may now have been pushed to an 2018 release date however a lot is happening in Spiderman’s world with the ambitious spin offs of The Sinister Six, Venom even a possible Spidergirl. These rumours are creating a buzz this franchise could yet be rebooted again with another actor playing Spiderman with the webslinger even appearing in Avengers films too a franchise he appears in regularly in the comic book world. All are still rumours nothing has been made official but after the mixed reviews of The Amazing Spiderman 2, Sony will be eager to not disappoint a third time.

Christian Today  broke the news that Gwen Stacey maybe returning to a future Spiderman movie even she died in the last movie however if she was to return she wouldn’t first character in history of this franchise to return from the grave. Martin Sheen’s who played Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben did return in The Amazing Spiderman 2 but only in flashbacks but the latest rumours don’t suggest Gwen’s return will be the same way.

There is a possibility the story arc may come from comic book story  in which a distressed Empire State University professor who fell in love with Gwen brings her back from the dead thanks to his cloning experiments. That professor was Miles Warren who becomes one of Spiderman’s nemesis known as Jackal, Gwen Stacey was also cloned as the Human ‘Carnage’ in the Ultimate Spiderman books both possible  story arcs.

Anything is possible when it comes to comic book sources and with no official source  linked to Christian Today  post there is no legitimacy to these rumours. A lot of this gossip has been around for a while it is obvious Sony have a lot of work to do to convince us all there is still life left in the webslinger here’s hoping The Sinister Six will kick off our faith in one of comicbook worlds favourite characters.
