Here is the (International) UK trailer for EDGE OF DARKNESS starring Mel Gibson. Directed by Martin Campbell who directed Casino Royale and this is based on the award winning BBC tv series of the same name with Michael waering and Graham King.The movie also stars Danny Huston, Ray Winstone and Bojana Novakovic.

Despite been a good few years since Mel Gibson has made a movie this does look like he’s back on form with this solid dark thriller. This is the 2nd BBC TV drama to have been recreated for the big screen with Russell Crowe’s excellent State of Play been the other.This proves that British TV can produce quality television and it makes you wonder if they’ll be anymore TV Drama’s that’ll make it to the big screen, I wont be surprised if some more do.

Edge Of Darkness is out in the UK and Ireland on January 29th 2010.
