“I’ve Just Taken Drugs” UK Trailer For NOW IS GOOD Starring Dakota Fanning With English Accent

NG-02776

Remember when we used to see her as a wee girl who could let loose the waterworks like in War of The Worlds or Man On Fire? It’s now 2012 and Dakota Fanning is all grown up and now doing more ‘serious’ films rather than Twilight with NOW IS GOOD. I use the ‘serious’ Film loosely Fanning stars with Warhorse Jeremy Irvine (minus the LOTR Samwise Gangee Cornish accent) in story of Tessa a girl dying of leukemia compiles a list of things she’d like to do before passing away. Topping the list is her desire to lose her virginity. You can see alot of Gus Van Sant’s Restless if it’s any better is a question for another day but if your dying and your still a virgin would loosing that virginity be the ultimate last desire? With a her recent film choice towards the dreaded Twilight Saga franchise this one will probably attract the Twihards rather than the straight up cinephile. As for her  English accent is it all apples and pears ala Dick Van Dyke style or does she get it right, watch and decide for yourselves!

Check out below the New UK trailer released online thanks to Yahoo , NOW IS GOOD also stars Bafta winning Paddy Considine, Olivia Williams and  Kaya Scodelario arriving in UK&Irish cinemas from May 25th.

Tessa is seventeen and passionate about life. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, she determines to use every moment, compiling a catalogue of what a normal teenager would experience, including losing her virginity and taking drugs. With the help of her friend Zoey, she sets the list in motion. While her family deals with fear and grief, each in their own way, Tessa explores a whole new world. Falling in love with Adam, her new neighbour, wasn’t on the list, but it proves to be the most exhilarating experience of them all.

* Update – 6 March – A Big thanks to Warner Bros UK who have sent us our own host version of trailer along with the films poster and first images*
