Disney's Snow White New Trailer Feels Like A 'Expensive Panto'

Magic Mirror on the wall what’s this trailer you give us all? Behold Disney’s Snow White has a new UK Trailer that feels like a ‘expensive panto’…Oh no it doesn’t!

The last decade Disney have been adapting many of their classic animated features in live action versions with some success. Next Easter the film they go back to the beginning with Snow White And The Seven Dwarves. It was only a matter of time this would get that 21st century upgrade, it hasn’t been a smooth transition. We don’t have any problems with Rachel Zegler as Snow White or who plays the dwarves, we know it annoys some.

Whatever those reasons are, this trailer gives us a better look and unfortunately this looks uninspiring. CG rendered characters look mediocre and we know the iconic Brothers Grimm fairytale deserves better. Will the songs for this musical balance things out? Those new tunes come from award winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land). In this trailer you can hear one of those songs, ‘Waiting On A Wish‘.

This certainly plays on the darker fantasy tone, can we get excited for it? At the moment…No.
