Disney ‘Enchant’ Us With First Trailer For Snow White Live-Action!
If there’s one Disney Studios classic animation surprised doesn’t have a live action version, it has to be Snow White. Today the studio have unveiled the film’s first (teaser) trailer, ready to ‘enchant us’!
Last night The annual Disney event D23 place when 15,000 plus fans guests, unveil news, clips and trailers for what we can expect on Disney‘s channels and the big screens. Snow White live action film was one of those films which we’ve been teased for a while now and the lucky people got a sneak peak. The film has Rachel Zegler as our titular character, a Latino actress which has angered those wanting more traditionalism. Also the casting (especially with the actors playing the Dwarves) others created in CGI, the story changes (no prince charming) have annoyed others.
The rest of the cast include Gal Gadot as the evil Queen. Marc Webb (Andrew Garfield Spiderman films) directs this one, with Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman) create the original songs.
I’ll be honest going by the previous live action adaptations, this is what I expected. This is the story that started it all and Mirror Mirror on the wall, how many of you will go see this? This is only a teaser and it doesn’t reveal any of those changes that have been mentioned, plenty time to win people over.
“Disney’s Snow White” is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. “Disney’s Snow White” is directed by Marc Webb and produced by Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer, and features all-new original songs from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
Snow White will be in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 21st March, 2025.
