Nick Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) directs this comedy which gives us a taster of the chaos awaits us when it’s released next month. When someone in your family are getting hitched wants to make sure they get the best day possible. Sometimes it’s a mistake or a misunderstanding and this film hopes to showcase that chaos in the best way as a comedy, well hope so!
In You’re Cordially Invited, Witherspoon is a woman who is planning her sisters wedding. Ferrell he’s a dad wanting to do the same for his own daughter, both are wanting to book the same venue. They do however they book the same popular wedding venue…on the same day! They agree to share the venue, but disaster awaits both families!
I’ll be honest, this doesn’t look funny at all and probably decline the invite. The trailer highlights the escalation to the point they want to ruin each others day.
