Billy Nighy has a lot of secrets to tell
Icon Film Distribution have released the official UK Trailer for Bill Nighy‘s latest film &Sons. It seems the veteran actor has a lot of ‘family secrets’ to unearth in Pablo Trapero‘s drama.
This film has a fantastic cast that includes Imelda Staunton, George MacKay, Dominic West, Johnny Flynn , and Noah Jupe. Film directed by Argentinean filmmaker Trapero in what is his English language feature debut. The director is no stranger to the site, we have reviewed The Quietude, The Clan, plus Carancho.
& Sons is based on the novel by David Gilbert and scripted by Sarah Polley (Women Talking). Nighy plays a reclusive novelist who believes he’s about to die and gathers his estranged sons to his home. A gathering that’s not just about forgiveness, but a family secret that forces all to face the truth.
Synopsis | A world-renowned but reclusive novelist, convinced he is about to die, summons his estranged sons to his home. & Sons will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 21st August.
