Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamers Getting A 4K Re-Release

Icon Film are set to give Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Dreamers 4K Ultra HD release.

Starring Eva Green, Michael Pitt and Louis Garrel. The Dreamers set against the backdrop of the 68 Paris student riots. It tells the story of Matthew (Pitt) a young American studying in Paris in 1968 strikes up a friendship with a French brother and sister.

Some review called this film a ‘masterpiece’ now coming to 4K Digitally in April. Then coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in May with 3 hours of extras. Here’s an old trailer to remind us of the film…

The restoration was completed by Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna under the supervision of director of photography, Fabio Cianchetti.

The highly anticipated release on two-disc special edition includes the restored feature on 4K UHD and Blu-ray, with more than three hours of bonus materials!
